We became the official store for that company and had truckloads of cookies coming from Ohio for 7 years. Then all of a sudden, they decided to put Maurice Lenell up for sale and were looking for $3 million. There were no buyers and they stopped production. The Pinwheel and Jelly Star machines are still sitting in their warehouse collecting dust !!! We are trying to keep a Chicagoland tradition alive and have evolved into a seasonal pop-up Christmas Cookie store for the last 6 seasons. We found a commercial baker that makes similar cookies and have put together a 9 cookie assortment based on the Christmas Tins and Buckets that used to be available. Our version consists of Chocolate Chip, Fudge Brownie, Butterscotch, Almond and English Toffee along with 4 Christmas Sugar Cookies.There are No PINWHEELS OR JELLY STARS. Our assortment is available in Christmas Tins, Gift Boxes and Bulk Boxes. Everyone has been pleasantly surprised by what we have put together. We are entering our 13th year in business and are located inside The Cumberland Professional Center at 4701 N Cumberland Suite 18. We are open Monday thru Saturday from 9 AM. to 3 PM.
